The Extra Lesson® was established over 25 years ago as an approach to working with children with learning and behavioural difficulties on a 1:1 basis with a professionally trained practitioner.

The full practitioner training course is a combination of workshops and distance learning over a period of 3 years.

The first workshop is an introduction to the Extra Lesson and how it supports the learning, developmental and functional needs of the child and can be completed as a stand alone workshop on understanding child development.
